Desert Assassins is proud to announce the premier of Rip to Cabo TV show airing July 27th 11 am PST and 2 pm EST on CBS Sports. The TV show is a reality based show that captures the second Rip to Cabo ride and documents the escapades of a “band of brothers”. Danger and beauty, a mix that drives the testosterone of men Worldwide but it doesn’t have to come in the thrill of chasing the opposite sex. There is an alternate to finding this rush, well she’s still a lady and her name is Baja and she will kick your butt more than any Wife if you don’t treat her with respect. The Monster Energy Rip to Cabo takes to this vast land on dirt bikes and they don’t make an easy trip of it.

Danger and beauty, a mix that drives the testosterone of men Worldwide but it doesn’t have to come in the thrill of chasing the opposite sex. “We don’t go the easy way,” said Cameron Steele, Rip to Cabo creator and host. “This is not for the weekend warrior and is so much more than a motorcycle ride.” Steele’s Desert Assassins have hosted dirt bikers in Baja for nearly a decade and have become heroes to the kids and people of Baja along the way and a bit infamous both in the US and around the World.

The Baja is a mythical place as well as a moto paradise just waiting for those willing to take the chance, crossing the border on two wheels. Not suggested for the ill prepared or those ‘winging it’, dirt biking in Baja is the real deal. Fourty-three hard core dirt bike riders kicked off the Monster Energy Rip to Cabo at the US border as they went in search of the challenge and beauty of riding this magical peninsula.

The skill needed to ride 1,400 miles over 8 days is more than just physical, it’s a deeply spiritual voyage that requires metal fortitude and a willingness to face Baja day after day for more than a week. Taking on the toughest single tracks, the beat up Baja 1000 course and crossing the desolate mountain ranges of Baja is not for those needing their hand held. This is for the rugged, the adventurous and those ready to face the adversity that comes at them when riding two wheels on the original Southern California.

Join 11-Time Baja 1000 champion Johnny Campbell and his protégé, the current Baja 1000 champion Colton Udall. See freestyle motocross originator Justin Homan from the Metal Mulisha join his teammate Ryan Hagy as Justin sees the Baja for his first time. Also roosting along is 2000 Surfing World Champion Sunny Garcia. These icons of action sports join Steele and the 43-rider group as they work together to complete this 1,368-mile trek through the unforgiving, desolate and beautiful Baja.

As is always the case….. Baja is the star of Rip to Cabo.

Tune in to CBS Sports this Saturday the 27th at 11am Pacific and 2pm Eastern for the world premiere of Rip to Cabo.
